Guest access

At San Lucas Palms, you'll have access not only to our private home, but also easy access to the Tahquitz Creek Trail which is great for morning walks and runs, with easy access to the South into Deepwell and Twin Palms Neighborhoods.

Please note, poolside casita not included and not rented during your stay. If interested in it, please ask!

Additional notes

The pool area features a modern in-ground pool, a poolside outdoor fire pit, above ground jacuzzi, outdoor dining and BBQ outdoor cooking area.

CONCIERGE: Your private concierge will greet you and help you get acclimated to the estate. They are available to you 24x7 if you have questions or need anything, including meals, massages, etc... (fees apply)

SPA/JACUZZI HEATING: FREE! :)

POOL HEATING: Heating outdoor pools in Palm Springs requires large amounts of natural gas, so heating the pool with natural gas will incur an extra fee and will be billed prior to your arrival. If you'd like the pool heated please mention it in your reservation request and we'll let you know the details - heating the pool up to a comfortable temperature (82 to 84 degrees Fahrenheit, depending on how cool it is outside) takes approximately 18 hours.

ENERGY CAP: Our home is highly energy efficient, well insulated w/ solar panels. However, to encourage responsible behavior (e.g. keeping doors and windows closed while AC/heat is running) there is an energy cap of $70 per week. For reference, our monthly energy bill during the hottest months in Palm Springs is no more than $125 - (and we like the house cool in the summer and warm in winter...).

SECURITY: For security of the property when it's *unoccupied*, we have security cameras. All cameras except for the front doorbell will be disabled during your stay. There are LED indicator lights on all cameras to verify on/off. We also have decibel (noise level) monitoring to ensure no one gets fined by the City of Palm Springs due to vacation rental noise ordinances.

Guest interaction

We won't be available in-person, however our local concierge will be 24/7. We are also always reachable by the app, phone or text.

We're low-key hosts, but we are obligated to provide some rules to avoid unruly guests and parties. Our home is a special place and we appreciate guests to treat it as if it's your own :)

Here are our needful house rules...

PALM SPRINGS STANDARRD GOOD NEIGHBOR RULES: Fines are up to $10,000.00 (yes, really) -- NO parties, NO amplified music should be heard from outside the house at any time.
- NO SMOKING/VAPING INDOORS (ONLY IN YOGA GARDEN)
- NO SHOES INSIDE HOUSE OR POOL SUITE
- NO EXTRA GUESTS
- NO PETS
- QUIET TIME 10PM-8AM
- NO NOISE AUDIBLE FROM OUTSIDE OF HOUSE AT ANY TIME
- NO CANDLES / INCENSE
- FLUSH ONLY TOILET PAPER
- NO PARTIES (REALLY, NONE…)
- TAKE CARE OF KEYS; LOCKOUTS $95
- TAKE CARE OF TOWELS/LINENS; REPLACEMENT FEE DETAILS BELOW

POOL AND JACUZZI RULES:
- Shower before entry
- Let sunscreen dry for 15 minutes before entering
- Close the Jacuzzi top when not in use
- NO GLASS/CERAMIC/BREAKABLES
- NO MUSIC
- NO POOPY DIAPERS / PEOPLE WITH DIARRHEA IN THE POOL/JACUZZI
- NO POOL PARTIES! ABSOLUTELY NO AMPLIFIED SOUND/MUSIC
- NO SEX IN THE JACUZZI...yes really, $250 draining/refilling fee if this happens

NOISE: Palm Springs is very particular about noise - absolutely no audio should be ever heard from outside the house. Failure to do so will be result in removal from property and potential fine from the city of Palm Springs up to $10,000 (yikes)!

Garbage: Bins are next to the garage. Composting is now required by law in California, so please use the compost bin and empty into the green bin.

Pets: Absolutely ***no*** pets, no exceptions (due to allergies). We monitor our doorbell camera on checkin - if you are caught with a pet - $1000 fee and you'll be asked to leave immediately

PLEASE USE PROVIDED COASTERS AND HOT PADS. Damage to furniture will be billed at full cost of replacement. Absolutely no smoking of any kind. No candles No massage oils!

Additional Guests: NO additional guests on the property without prior approval; no additional guests may stay in the house due to Palm Springs rental laws - we monitor our doorbell camera at checkin and will ask you to leave if you bring additional guest to stay in the house.
